Annual Banquet

The event is free to all grand Prix finalists and their guest. It is also free to all members who volunteered during the year. Check the lists above to see if you qualify. Additional tickets may be purchased online for $26. All attendees must RSVP to attend. (If you say you are attending and do not make it, you will be charged for the dinner.) The evening will include a cash bar, dinner, an after dinner speaker, and random prizes.

Why: RRRC holds an annual banquet to recognize the accomplishments of its members. There are numerous awards including those for the Grand Prix winners, the club spirit award, the sports excellence award and many others. Many random prizes will also be given out.

Where: The Meadowbrook Country Club is conveniently located just off of Chippenham Parkway (Chippenham to Hopkins Rd. toward Richmond, turn right onto Cogbill, travel 0.5 miles, turn left into Club at brick pillars, follow road to parking lot and clubhouse.) 3700 Cogbill Rd. 804-275-7865. When: February 6, starting at 6 pm.

Who: This event is open to all members and their guests. Please come out and help us recognize the hard work that all of the volunteers put into the club.

How Much: The event is free to all Grand Prix finalists and their guest. It is also free to all members who volunteered during the year. Check the lists to the left to see if you qualify. Additional tickets may be purchased online for $26 (includes tax and gratuity.) All attendees must RSVP to attend. (If you say you are attending and do not make it, you will be charged for the dinner.) The event is open to all who wish to attend. While it is free to those that volunteered, please feel free to bring your family and friends for a modest charge of $22 each. The deadline to RSVP is January 21.

Awards: The club gives awards in many different categories including best races, best race t-shirts, best group runs, best training team and more. Click Here to help us select the winners.

Random Prizes: We have all kinds of random prizes and just about everyone will get one.

The Grand Prix: Each year the club runs a series of races and members collect points by placing or volunteering at the events. At the end of the year the male and female winners are announced as the Grand Prix Champions at the club’s annual banquet.

Dress Code: Country club casual (no jeans, no t-shirts) or as dressy as you wish.
