I will be staying at Bear Creek overnight and will not need a parking spot - I guess that's what limits the # of participants to 150, so I guess that'll leave room for at least one more enthusiast?
Hello, Kevin! You do such an amazing job with this run. It is sooo beautiful on these trails. Thanks for doing this for those who love the woods.
I wonder if you are having runs on these trails prior to Dec. 6 ,and if so,which days? I signed up for Bear Creek even though I am not 100% sure I can really make it, but I hope so. And also hope to make one of your familiarization runs.
ANY run on the trails at Bear Creek should only be done on SUNDAY until after the first of the year. The park is open to hunters and you never know who might hear you and shoot before confirming their target.
Gary,
Thank you for this! Great information! I do not want to get shot!
I'm going to stick with Kevin and group for safety and maybe wear blaze orange so I don't get mistaken for a deer!
Gary, I saw the great NoFrills 5K pictures--your costume was fantastic! Very creative!
Not sure if I really can, but I hope I can make the Bear Creek run. The woods=Happiness and Serenity.
To wake up and have another day of life to love, laugh, see the sun and beautiful trees is gift.
Great.....not only do I need to be worried about the critters on the trails, I now need to be worried about those who may mistake me for one of the critters:)
