I still have not received this month's M&M and would really like to know what happened to it? At the last RRRC meeting we were told it had gone to the printers. Did this happen? Maybe the printers pushed it back in the schedule? Eitherway, it is Sept 22 and still no sign of the newsletter.
RH-not sure why the discussion disappeared, guess someone did not like some part of it. Did you get your newsletter problem resolved? I had issue why renewing membership but got it cleared up with editor.
I finally received the current issue of newsletter in the mail yesterday. My issue is NOT that the newsletter was late, but that the Club did not respond to member's comments about it being late. I think the newsletter is truly a class act publication and really enjoy reading it. What I do not understand is why one of the RRRC board members and/or elected officials could not have at least written that they "were looking into way it was late" or told us "there was some printing issues and it would be out soon" or at least let us know they were looking into it. I find the removal of the original discussion and failure to address member concerns a lack of respectful.
Run Happy
PS: I really loved the article by Karen Gammon. She and Tommy are so lucky to have each other.
i just received my Sept today also so guess it was Aug I had previously received. I do not get a lot out of it however, guess because I have seen most of the same info on the website. Maybe I just need to change to online receipt.
Is there a notice when newsletter is available for view, such as email, to members who select online newsletter option? Or does it just appear under newsletter menu tab?
I don't know why the newsletter was late. I believe it went to the printer and to the mailer on time. The editor might know. You can drop him an email at editor@rrrc.org. One possible reason might be that the newsletter is not mailed first class. It goes through the mail service on a space available basis. As to why "The Club" didn't respond to RH's question. I guess the volunteers had other things to do. I got mine today.
