Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

I was curious as to whether anyone has received their October copy of Miles and Minutes? I see that the electronic version is up, but I never received one in the mail.

I received in the mail yesterday, so I'm sure you'll get it any day now.

I haven't received Miles and Minutes in the mail for over a year. I am still a member but apparently the dog is eating my homework.

Maybe this one should just be renamed Nov. and start next one as Dec?

M. Amy - did you check you membership status on website. I think it may give your newsletter status? If not, I simply sent an email to the editor and he promptly corrected my membership and started my mail copies, though I don't think I have seen Nov.

Yes, I do show up as a member. When I first noticed I wasn't getting the newsletter, I emailed Ed Carmines. I do read the newsletter on line, so it isn't killing me not to get a hard copy.

Nothing yet but I live south of that vast body of water, the fabulous James River!

Mine finally came yesterday afternoon.

Mine finally came yesterday. Not sure why it is taking so long....???? I did enjoy the stories and the photos.

M&M - keep up the good work, but maybe check with the printers what is taking sooooo long to get them out to us members.

Its not the printer, its the USPS. We send these via a non-profit status and the post office handles them on a space available basis.

Space available basis... Oh no, this could mean the Christmas issue will not arrive until February. Maybe RRRC could ask Santa Claus to deliver M&M under the tree?

Is the space available shipping cheaper? If so then maybe we should consider paying a little more for shipping since it seems like a lot of members would like to get them on time.

It's available for reading as soon as it comes back from the printer - no one "has" to wait for the USPS to get around to delivering it....
