I did it guys! with a hangover( a very small on), I managed to make it back to John Rolfe Y and finish my 7 miler. the route wasnt bad till u hit singingwoods and windbluff, the rain never make a hit in those area?... tis was more like an agility run that u have to keep ur balance over the slush and ice on the route.

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I made the leap and decided to train for my first full marathon - Shamrock. Woohoo! I decided to make this event even more meaningful for me by training with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. If you'd like to support my fundraising efforts, please visit my website at http://pages.teamintraining.org/va/shamrock10/kostberg. Thanks, and I hope to run into some of you at Shamrock!

Wow, the Turkey Trot was ALL hills! I realized that I saw Andrea AFTER I ran by her, but luckily, I saw her again after the race to say hi. I saw a couple of other PH HMTers, like Paul and Kathi. Sorry I didn't catch up with you, Renee. That was fun, but hard work!

It was indeed awesome seeing all of you out at the TROT yesterday..what a great day! And thanks for the shout out Renee - awesome seeing you in the chute. You look great as always!

Coach Andrea is the best - I saw her halfway through the run and she shouted some encouraging words and then she was kind enough to run with me in the last half a mile...I totally forgot about the pain and misery of the last hill and we FLEW through to the end of the race!!! Thanks coach Andrea - I owe you AGAIN! YOU ARE THE VERY BEST COACH EVER!!!!!

Have a blessed weekend!

If you haven't heard, the Mary Mun Runners are sponsoring the 2nd annual Donut Run tomorrow (Saturday, November 28) at Mary Munford (Westmoreland and Grove) at 9:00 am. Bring an empty stomach and some donut money. We'll run from Mary Munford to the Krispy Kreme on Broad (about 1.5 miles) and then make the return trip home. Can you eat your dozen?
*This is a just for fun, friends running together gig. Don't expect large sponsorships (or any at all), prizes or otherwise. Just one heck of a good time!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thanks Andrea for being there at mile 5. It was good to see glimpses of some of you out there today. Hope everyone runs the New Year's 10k so we can all get our hills in again!
