Tamara,
Congrats on your half marathon. I had to do a few halfs before I broke the 2 hour mark.
I also wanted to thank you for the 3Sports gift certificate. I was a true "ghost coach" and didn't deserve it. Anyway, I bought a lot of much needed GU for my last long runs before my marathon.

Glad to hear so many of you are continuing to run and train for races. Race goals are a great motivator to get out of bed in the morning or lace up those shoes after work.

Hi Training Team!

If you are looking for something to do on Friday that is a little different (before the 10 miler or long run on Saturday)... consider participating in a grassroots, cancer-awareness event a friend and I organized to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation (support a great cause while solving puzzles and trying to win tacky prizes)??...

...Friday will be the 2nd annual Richmond LiveSTRONG Day's adventure race starting at 4:00 on Friday (October 2nd) at the Canal Basin in Downtown Richmond.

To participate register online at: www.richmondlivestrongday.org (online registration closes on Wednesday)...

If you know anyone who would love to join us too, please pass this along - we are in the last-minute recruitment crunch and would like all interested persons to attend!!

If you can't make the race join us for the post-race celebration starting at 6:00 at Southern Railway Deli! If you are out of town on Friday, consider wearing yellow or participating in a local LiveSTRONG Day event!

Finished the Rock n Roll in 2 hours. It was an amazing day with excellent weather conditions and truly great to see so many runners. Saw someone in a Patrick Henry shirt but not sure who they were. I did start the race with Penny which was great to have her support.
