Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
RRRC does not have a specific training program for women at this time. We do offer a monthly Women’s Skirt Run from Legend Brewing Company on the first Wednesday of every month. Click Here for Directions. This is a friendly group than runs about 30 minutes out to the flood wall and back. The run starts at 6:30. E-mail Cheri at membership@rrrc.org if you have any questions.
The second important thing to do is to set a goal of what you want to accomplish in your running. It could be lose weight, get fit, have fun, or whatever. When you go out for a run do it for a reason. You will feel much better afterwards when you have accomplished what you wanted to do. It’s ok to run with others but it’s your run, not theirs. Do what you want to do and enjoy it!
