Dearest Eileen:

Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season!! Thank you for brightening up my day with your good cheer, good wishes, and good humor:) I've missed seeing you and hope to connect soon. I'm not sure if I can run on Jan 10th in the park. Our Xmas celebration with my Mom got delayed (she is in far Southwestern Va and has not had any power & water since last Friday at her house). We may be going to visit her over that weekend, not sure yet. So, that is why I was running Xmas Eve morn with the RRRC gang:). Better than the run and the company on the run, was the breakfast at Westbury, once we found it:). Being with warm, humorous, crazy folks brightens up any day:). Hope to see you soon and wish you the VERY BEST for 2010!

Hey Eileen! I hope you and your family are full of holiday cheer. Are you running the New Years Day 10K? I am; hopefully I will see you there.

Glad you like the name. I wanted to put a positive spin on being an Athena runner. I think a lot of women who are 150+ in the running community are kind of put off by it, but I think it's great. It really gives me something to strive for during a race.

Talk to you soon...many hugs.

I haven't yet, but Summer (gym worker) told me she loves it too. It is def on my to do list. I am still a little sore from Anne's ball and bar class! Ouch! I haven't been doing any cross training since March and I'm feeling the effects! Feels great to be back at the gym!! It is so nice to see your shining smile! Let's catch lunch one day! :)

P.S. John said last night That the snow was going to "come down like lard" last night. Still crackin' me up. Never heard that one! lol

Thanks for the nice things you say - for all I know you have to be a nice person to say nice things! It will be cool if you joined our trail runs in Pocahontas. We are planning to start doing some more Saturday runs too. I am training for a spring marathon, so I am planning to do some extra miles before meeting with Joe and Megan, so perhaps that might suit your situation.

I really have no idea who "Dog" is. Didn't even know that he was at the race, really. I was just trying to make a funny comment about his run. Pretty much everybody that ran that race looked like they had fallen down in the mud and the creeks. Think Mr. Dog likes to be very mysterious and anonymous:)
